At a friend's request (a fantastic saxophonist) I decided to re-compose and arrange a short potpourri of early themes and pieces I wrote during the pandemic of 2020/2021 for soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones.
These pieces were written right before moving to Ghent to start my professional academic studies at the Royal Conservatory.
Revising and arranging this selection now years later, after graduating magna cum laude from the conservatory that I was about to be going to when writing these original pieces, I look back at them fondly. I learned so much there, and I also wrote and arranged so much for the amazing, virtuosic saxophone students that go there, Memories of Isolation, kind of is a love letter to Ghent; the place, as well as the people.

Milo Paulus (b. August 14th, 1999) is an award-winning Dutch composer, conductor, orchestrator and score producer specializing in original music for concerts, screen and stage productions. His catalog spans a diverse range of styles and influences for both instrumental and vocal works, as well as countless original soundtracks for films and video-games. His works have been commissioned by various performing groups, festivals and institutions.
